Just to get this balanced:

The bloody corpse of a young woman in her early twenties, and possibly from Eastern Europe, was found at around 9am this morning in Quinta de los Molinos park near to the entrance on the calle Juan Ignacio Luca de Tena.

She was found partially hidden, near a dirt track, next to railings on the other side of which there is a building site.

Her head had been smashed in, and police suspect foul play. If this proves to be the case, she will become the 50th murder victim in the region so far this year.

From "Think Spain" 14th September 2006

Sad, very sad
